About This Project

le_mur_2016_chpt6-reset-eres-webEres and Reset are two Belgian artists who have taken to painting together. Whilst Reset focuses on the lettering, Eres’s style is as personal as it is realist.

Reset creates complex and dynamic lettering in which the letters in turn intermesh and clash. The artist toys around with colour contrasts but also with the perspectives he infuses his lettering with.Eres’s works are more figurative. The artist produces striking realism that comes to the fore both in the quality of the details, in giving pride of place to features that are as precise as they are expressive, and in the contrasts between bold colours …
