About This Project

Djamel Oulkadi, also known under the monicker of AZE at the Brussels CNN collective, is another artist to come out of the graffiti movement, who in nothing resembles any of his counterparts. Having developed a very individual style, he is building an abstract body of graphic work informed by Arabic calligraphy. Unveiling veritable labyrinths of geometric patterns and motifs, his work veers between superimposed lines and psychedelia.
